Persistent in Prayer

Do you have coworkers with which you always seem to have issues? Do you have direct reports who seem to struggle with their person-to-person relationships? Do you see potential in your team, but they have yet to find it themselves? Do you want Growth for your people? If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of those questions, then I just have one more question: Are dedicating yourself to actively praying for them? This is a struggle for me: not to pray, but to be dedicated and consistent. “I’m just too busy!” “I don’t have time!” And so the excuses go. But, imagine that someone you greatly admire - past or present, respected author, theologian, professional athlete, famed business professional or entrepreneur, actor/actress, or whomever - wanted to meet with you every day for a quick coffee and conversation; no more than 15-20 minutes a day. Would you not MAKE or TAKE time?! And here, the Creator of the Universe, Author of Salvation, Who gave up His Son to have relationship with you, awaits to meet you for that coffee, for that short conversation: are you still too busy? No one just HAS time: we must MAKE it by being more efficient at things that MUST be done, or we must TAKE it from things that we could easily do without.
