5 Ways to Ruin your Witness at Work: Number 5

Number 5: Be Unreliable Regardless where we fall within the Organizational Chart, if we can not be trusted to own the day-to-day tasks within our areas of responsibility we not only diminish our opportunities to add value to the company, but we also drastically diminish our ability to speak personally into the lives of our teammates, Direct reports, and Overseers. “"He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:10‬ Did you notice the correlation between being faithful versus being unrighteousness? Could it be that if we are not faithful in the work tasks that “don’t really matter”, are we allowing unrighteousness into our hearts and lives? Sobering thoughts. Don’t be the Unreliable Sluggard! Be found faithful, a good servant, that you may be entrusted with more, as well as remain above reproach should you also have the opportunity to share the Gospel with anyone at work.
